Stainless Steel Benching Cleaning Instructions
The Do’s
✅ Everyday Cleaning – Water & Soft Cloth
Regular cleaning can be done quickly and easily with warm water and a clean, soft cloth. Wipe in the direction of polish lines for best results. Drying with a cloth will prevent water spots. Microfibre cloths absorb water best
✅ Stubborn Marks – Mild Detergent
For stubborn marks, mix a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid in warm water Wipe the area firmly and rinse with clean water. Dry with a soft cloth to prevent water stains
✅ Fingerprints – Glass Cleaner
Spray glass cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly on surface) and wipe fingerprints in a circular motion. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth top prevent water stains.
✅ Older or Dull Benchtops – Stainless Steel Cleaner
Use a stainless-steel cleaner for neglected, stained, or scratched surfaces
• Always Read and follow product instructions
• Always Test on a small, hidden area first
• Always Rinse and dry completely
The Don’ts
❌ Avoid Abrasive Cleansers
Abrasive cleaners can permanently scratch the surface
❌ Don’t Skip Rinsing
Dirty water or leftover cleaning products can cause stains or pitting
Always rinse with clean, warm water and dry with a soft cloth
❌ No Bleach or Bleach-Based Products
Bleach damages stainless steel, If spilled accidentally, rinse immediately
❌ Never Use Steel Wool or Steel Brushes
These will scratch and damage the surface permanently
